Is there a difference between the mobile app and the web portal?
Insulia offers the same features, whether on the web or a mobile device.
Can I change my mind after choosing the mobile app or web portal to use Insulia?
For data security reasons, you cannot use both the mobile device and the web portal to enter data. If you have selected one but would rather use the other after all, please contact Insulia User Support at 1-866-467-8542.
What do I do if I can’t download Insulia on my mobile?
Verify that you have Internet connectivity. Verify your device’s compatibility (see above). If you have checked both and you still can’t download Insulia, contact Insulia User Support at 1-866-467-8452.
How do I know when a new version of Insulia is available? Does Insulia update automatically?
As with any other app, you will receive a notification from the operating system when a new version of Insulia is available. If you specified in your settings that you want your apps to update automatically, Insulia will also update automatically.
Who has access to my personal data?
Only your health care team can see your Insulia data (with the exception of your personal codes) using their web portal.
Can I change my treatment settings?
For security and safety reasons, only your health care team can change your own treatment settings. If you think that your treatment settings are incorrect and need to be changed, contact your doctor who can then change your treatment settings as needed.
